Jeff Lerner

 

Jeff Lerner began his career as a law clerk with the U.S. Department of Justice and subsequently served as a Senior Trial Attorney with the U.S. Treasury Department.  His corporate experience includes serving as vice president and tax counsel for two Fortune 500 companies, Burlington Northern Railroad and TXU Corporation.  Over his career he has provided legal representation to a diverse list of clients on a wide range of legal issues.

Jeff earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and received both a J.D. and L.L.M. (Master of Law - Taxation) from The Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.  He is licensed to practice law in Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the United States Tax Court. 

 

Mr. Lerner is also a certified Texas mediator, and has mediated disputes in a wide variety of areas, including divorce, business, employment, personal injury, and more.  He has been active in the Tarrant County community, serving as a volunteer and board member for several non-profit organizations.
